Performance & efficiency:

The 330L model is one of the largest-capacity integrated heat pumps currently available in New Zealand, making it a strong option for bigger households. The 200L model, with its slightly higher COP of 4.16 (vs 4.04 for the 330L), suits smaller households of 1–3 people.

Both models use R290 (propane) refrigerant with a GWP of 3 and feature inverter technology — the compressor adjusts its speed to match demand rather than cycling on/off, which improves efficiency and reduces wear.

At 42 dB(A) (lab-tested at 2m per GB/T 23137), it’s among the quietest integrated units in the market. The operating range of −7°C to 45°C covers all NZ conditions, with the 1.5 kW backup element engaging in extreme cold. Certified to AS/NZS 2712 and WaterMark AS 3498.

Features:

• The microchannel condenser: provides a larger heat exchange surface in a compact footprint.
• Triple full-length magnesium anodes: (rather than the single anode found in most competitors) supports extended tank life.
• Mute mode: for silent overnight heating, the compressor runs at reduced power to minimise noise, heating water while you sleep so you wake to a hot shower.
• Four operating modes: (Auto, Eco, Fast Recovery, and Mute) are controlled via a colour TFT LCD screen — easier to read in any lighting than the monochrome displays on most competitors.
• Dual timers: allow solar PV alignment during the day plus an early morning boost.

There is no Wi-Fi or smartphone app — a notable omission in 2026, though some buyers will prefer the simplicity of a quality on-unit display.
