Performance and efficiency:

The Enviroflo GR sits below Rinnai’s premium HydraHeat as a more affordable entry into the Rinnai ecosystem.

Features:

• Built-in Wi-Fi: (which the HydraHeat lacks) provides app-based monitoring and control.
• Suitable for both hard and soft water areas: important in regions like Canterbury where hard water can damage heat exchangers.
• The Enviroflo uses a higher refrigerant input (1.1kW) than some competitors, but compensates with robust performance across a wider ambient range (to 45°C).

Supply and service:

Rinnai New Zealand is the Auckland-based arm of the Japanese Rinnai group and supplies through the mainstream plumbing merchant channel, so the Enviroflo GR and HydraHeat units are widely stocked and readily quoted by installers nationwide.

Its after-sales position is the strongest in this category: an authorised service centre network covering fourteen regions across both islands, searchable by product type, with online service booking and a requirement that installation, servicing and repair be carried out only by authorised personnel.
