Trade Depot has disrupted the NZ market with direct-to-consumer pricing. The 280L model at $2,499 supply-only is the lowest unit cost in the market — though you’ll still need a plumber for installation ($1,500–$3,500 depending on complexity).
Important note: both R290 and older R134a versions exist — confirm you’re getting the R290 model when ordering. The 280L offers strong value with a COP of 4.6 and the same Alexa/Google Home compatibility found in the AHI Carrier Blue range (likely the same OEM platform).
